Today is a day of rest, for the adults, at least. A day to just chill out with friends and let the kids romp around. We’ve discussed going over to the Hoover Dam but no one seems to have the ambition for that. It’s nice to lay low, relax and reconnect with friends.

Last night I did laundry and this morning I finished folding the three loads and getting it all put away. A little bit of cleaning up in Flyer and I feel more relaxed to begin our trek home.

It is hot here. Have I said that yet? Inside is nice, central air is definitely needed here. Flyer, however, isn’t doing so well. She just doesn’t have it in her to keep the refrigerator and AC going to keep everything cool enough with these temps.

We’ll leave tomorrow early, to get a jump on the heat.
